   Your thought provoking, informative, & well researched writing has provided special insight and logic to so many. Your departure is a severe loss , but your invaluable contributions to journalism and our republic can never be forgotten.

   Thank you, Matthew, for sharing excerpts from Molly’s columns. What a rare, beautiful combination of wisdom, wit, spunk and courage she was. Who ever will take her place? I for one will try to honor her memory by mustering my courage more to speak truth to power.

   Matthew, thank you so much for those excerpts. I had a belly laugh and then a good cry. Of course no-one can replace Molly, but we can carry on her work,she would like that.

   Now that we are able to post comments on these articles, I, an average, middle class American, have acquired a voice! Wow! I feel so liberated!
   Matthew, the excerpts are very much appreciated. Molly had the platform and spoke for so many millions of us who didn’t and still don’t have the ability to express our views to the masses.

   In the past, my only audience was friends and family in my email address book, and because I begged them on election eve, 2004, not to vote for Bush and gave them all the reasons why, I have been shut out by some. I miss them not.

   Thank you Molly, for speaking my words for me and representing me, the ordinary, sometimes ornery gal.
