   We all know that Cheney/Bush crime family will lie, cheat, steal - do anything to further their own and PNAC’s purposed. Why can’t we get rid of them NOW???

   Do you think people really care? Those with half a brain could see all this going on at the time; yet Bush & Cheney got re-elected in 2004. By the way, do you think the country wants to witness the spectacle of Blackwater mercenaries (aka The Praetorian Guard) holding off the sheriffs from serving the impeachment warrants?

   This is written for the NYTimes and they never mention how they are and have been active in spreading the administration’s lies. Without an acknowledgment and a repudiation of that policy and the philosophy behind it, this is just the same old stuff. Note the use of surge. And note the continued ignoring of those good hearted, well meaning and better informed people that knew of these staged lies all along and were marginalized by NYTimes and the rest of the administration’s media and made to look like kooks or unpatriotic so there wouldn’t be any reall dialog. And what of the chilling effect when we notice the lies and their media tells us it is just an elitist issue, or inconsequential? What of the fact that if he (they) hadn’t, didn’t lie they’d never would have gotten any support? That is why they lied. And when they lie about why we need to go to war they turn us into murders and thieves.

   It appears that the only people who really take the neocon’s PNAC seriously are those folks in the Middle East. Apparently there is no lack of young Iraqis (and their families)willing to immolate themselves to preserve the hope of eventual national autonomy. How long will it take before Indipendent film makers will honor their sacrifices by making movies that give recognition to them?

   The Iraqi “insurgents” are involved in a struggle to rid their country of foreign corporate influence using the only weapons they have and are pretty successful. Civil war is not the worst thing that they have to face. The US had one of those too. Imagine how much longer and destructive it would have been to have had foreign corporation controlled foreign countries influencing the management of the civil war and our socio/economic and political evolution?

   I find it odd that everyone keeps talking about after the fact lies. The original deception was the destruction of the THREE World Trade buildings. Start at the catalyzing moment, then work from there. WE must impeach them, convict them, then bury the dead in Crawford.

   George W Bush might very well be the worst president ever, but Dick Cheney is cold, calculated and diabolical. He lies with a straight face (ok, crooked mouth) and doesn’t take one step backward. I too am disappointed in the NY Times for its part in promoting the administration’s lies, but Frank Rich, Bob Herbert, Paul Krugman and Maureen Dowd have consistently exposed the corrupt and deceitful words and deeds of Bush/Cheney/Rice, et. al.

   Being raised to believe only the best should lead and very comfortable with the fact to follow those who possess greater intelligence and ability what astounds me most is how the major media allowed Bush/Dick to make them their bitch with no resistance? I’m still befuddled and will never comprendo?

   I agree with Uncle Buck; look to 9/11. Hunter Thompson asked us to look at who benefitted most from 9/11. The game of Hegelian manipulation continues.

    I do hope that comment was meant ironically. I took it as such, since the “corporation controlled foreign country” as far as Iraq is concerned is of course none other than the US Imperium, which is indeed under corporate control.
