I love picturing Molly and Maya as twins, separated at birth! Each one has been a particularly meaningful voice in my life. I miss seeing Molly’s column in my morning newspaper. I am still reading the tributes on the Internet. Maya Angelou is truly “a spirit guide” tnat I value. I hope she’ll be speaking out for a long, long time.

Many of us know “Why the Caged Bird Sings” and it takes the eloquence of special voices to put it into words. I will miss Molly and my heart is a bit lost without her compass. Oh, Maya, stick around for a very long time, the walls are stacked so high against us! Humanity needs all of the compassionate souls we can find because when the walls of Jericho fall I will volunteer with dust pan and broom to join my sisters and brothers on the clean up line.
