   “State Senator Dennis Hollingsworth, Republican of Temecula, an opponent of the measure, said: “This resolution talks about not only opposing the troop increase but cutting off their funding. It lays bare the Democrats’ true intentions. So they can stop the platitudes about supporting the troops but not supporting the mission. They want us to lose this war.” ”
   It would appear that Senator Hollingsworth is living in a state of altered reality or lives on another planet.

   True that tobee4! I cry all the time because of the state of things…that our politicians can actually get away with BS like Hollingsworth’s. But though I believe our politicians should’ve never allowed the war in the first place, let alone funded it and passed laws that take away the most important parts of the Bill of Rights from us (like the Military Commissions Act of 2006 and the “PATRIOT” Act), at LEAST some of these guys in our state legislatures are doing SOMETHING! I’d prefer more than symbolic actions, but we need those as well…at least it’s a start. Log this one in your archives, guys, so we can tell our kids America isn’t a complete disgrace!!!    “Many Republicans in state legislatures have remained silent on the resolutions, seeing no advantage in signing or voting for them. Others have called the actions essentially votes of no confidence in the troops on the ground.”
   The votes are essentially votes of no confidence in this president and his administration. The troops are not stupid and they know that. The troops on the ground know the truth about what is happening in Iraq. The polls have already shown that the troops agree with the resolutions.

   Where is the mainstream media coverage of the outrage OUR country is voicing? Is the Internet the only place Americans can find the “Freedom of the Press”? MSM would rather distract U.S. with The Anna Nicole Smith saga than tell U.S. how corrupt OUR government is.

   When are the obviously truth and intellectually challenged Republicans politicians and pundits going to stop spewing the lie that any statement of disagreement with the majestically stupid policies of George W. Bush on Iraq are in any way indicating a lack of support of our men and women serving there?

   Oh…and to the jerks that say that we who oppose Bush want to “lose this war”…you mental giants, the war has already been lost and the occupation is a disaster.

   The next lying Republican jerk who questions my patriotism and love of my country to my face is going to get some free dental and medical care.

   The Republicans and their Neocon masters will never see a war that they don’t support if there is a buck to be made out of it. They obviously don’t care about trading the blood, limbs and lives of the average American serving in these wars as long as it serves their New World Order vision of empire.

   I support the troops but, I do not support the war and I never did! I do not support the drooling idiot in the Oval Office. He is without a doubt the most dangerous man to ever hold his high office.

   If Bush wants to send someone to Iraq on his fool’s mission let him send his daughters or pick up a weapon and go himself.

   Hollingsworth and his ilk really havent got a clue. To say progressives and Democrats want us to “lose the war” is humorous to me. First off the “war” was lost the day the invasion began. The only winners so far have been the mega-corporations, ie the Carlyle Group, Bechtel, Halliburton along with the Bush Cartel and the Cheney Cartel. The US must realize that it is an immoral nation trying to bully the world. It is embarrassing to be a citizen here these days….
