   Who, exactly, is running the USA? Sounds like Rove and Cheney.

   No $ in peace. That is the problem. I’d like to hear what Colin Powell has to say. Does he suffer the same memory loss as Condi?

   Ney speaks Farsi? I thought he only spoke $. Could be why nothing happened from this overture. No bribe.

   Sounds incredulous to many or us that those in the know are stonewalling about this, pretending that they hadn’t seen it.
   Then it finally gets through my thick skull: the style of the present administration vis a vis the middle east is quite obviously NOT negotiation - it is fabrication of the falsehoods they want to tell the American people so as to grease the skids for violent confrontation.

   “Who, exactly, is running the USA?” Why, American people, of course! For if the American people are those blockheads, who had succumbed to Rove’s ruse supported war by 80% majority, who are we in minority to complain. Besides, after Abu-Ghrave, violation of Constitution and other little things, they had still voted in 2004 for Cheney.
   On the other hand, if American people are those blockheads, who had shortsighted lunatic, who are milking military-industrial-complex, then of course, peace is not an option.
   If, however, American people are those who look a bit ahead of their individual interest limited by coming night, then of course, Karl Rove and Dick Cheney had committed high treason, which in time war is punishable by gallows or firing squad in our enlightened times.

   This relevation is the smoking gun of Deceit, and Treason, from Rove and Cheney, Immediate Investigation should be brought forward, and covered in the news media. If Fox won’t cover the facts, the network should be charged with aiding and abeting War Profitters, and enableing wrongfull deaths of hundreds of thousands. They should be made to give all their profits for Desperate Housewives, and 24 to pay for the medical bills for the injured vets, that the bush administration has slammed the door on. The end of the Bush Regiem grows closer with every relevation of their lies, Deceit, and War Crimes. Its time for INDITEMENTS AND NOW CONGRESS

   We must ask ourselves as Citizens, what have we come to. I mean many of our Citizens made this big fuss about Bill Clinton and his conduct as President which forced Al Gore to distance himself from it and then came George W. Bush, presenting himself as this fresh face with all these great ideas and then now look at what we have. This is crazy, and it only reflect our shallowness as a people. We can scream about Bush,Rove Cheyney & the Noecons all we want but, they only reflect what we as a people allow. We are not naive, we are deceitful,Self-deceitful, because we pretend to not realize that we have to truly hold these Politicians accountable we just buy their baloney, especially when it comes time to evaluate and elect them whether for President or Congress. In other words we have no one else to blame but ourselves as a Nation for where we are right now.This sickening! It really is.

    I read an article in the Wall Street Journal this weekend. In it, Tom Schelling (nobel prize, economics) claims that the US benefits from having ’sophisticated’ enemies; enemies that the global community can exert leverage on.

    This article shows the complete lack of sophistication that is inherent to the GOP’s foreign policy approach.

    Of all their faults, I believe this is the worst one.

    The White House “inner circle” considers themselves above the law. That why they operate in this manner with such blatant impunity. Last Novenber, the voters spoke in direct response to this arrogant and completely unacceptable posturing and consequences need to be immediately imposed upon all those responsible for their treasonous actions. Impeachment is only the first step.

    What bothers me about this story is that this writer and others go into great detail about circumstantial evidence as to the document’s importance (Karrazi is well-connected and his family is inter married with the supreme leader’s family).

    Please somebody report on why this document did not travel through normal diplomatic (or at the least normal non-diplomatic channels since the US had no diplomat in Tehran).

    As I understand it the swiss embassador to Iran was acting as the US agent there. Should he have communicated with someone in the US government other than Representative Ney?
