I think it will happen much more quickly. I think within 5 years we will see major flooding everywhere. While temperatures climb slowly, ice melts much more quickly. Why wouldn’t the vast under ice lakes and rivers lube giant sheets of ice right into the ocean?

To think that there is an entire culture of people, professionals and elected leaders, who see panic when confronted with facts about oil reserves running dry when simultaneously another group, scientists and intellectuals, are predicting the dire affects of oil consumption. Two global problems, inextricably linked, with only one clear solution: reduce consumption and therefore emission of Carbon based fuels.
