Since when did Europe have a hand in Guantanamo? I'm a US citizen, and I criticise the government for the same thing. Does that mean that I should come up with a solution to the problem, too? Well, here's the solution: Allow inmates to talk to their lawyers. Retract Bush's executive order that denies Habeas Corpus. Have trials. Close the prision. Simple. Next, Mr. Bellinger??? Deluded or not they can believe that they could create a big problem if Europe doesnt fall in line with their thinking. The fact that they are a bunch of self obsessed evil manipulators of the media to create a world where we are here just to feed the machine as it rolls ever onwards to melt down could be put down to our paranoi too. In the end the more Evil the Empire, the more Paranoid the Society. I'm just off to play my violin....I think I can smell something burning?! If they'd do a bit of research into their human rights tainted history, they'd be ashamed and shocked. I know it's difficult since the media has been taken over by the corporate handlers of such fine leaders as Bush, Cheney, McCain et al, but the unbiased info is out there. All you really need is an objective sense of fairness and be totally devoid of the idiotic mantra, "my country, right or wrong".
