   “It is not a shortcoming in spirit or willpower that dooms Bush’s troop increase in Iraq but an irretrievable deterioration in the situation on the ground. American lessons learned will be important next time around under the subsequent administration, but it is too late for the Bush administration to cram its way to success on the shoulders of a warrior-intellectual like Petraeus.”

   The real lesson that should be learned here is to not engage in aggressive wars of choice. Not how to try to win them once our politicians have lied to get us involved.

   Interesting article.

   “This number could be reduced if Iraqi Security Forces were truly in the lead as the Bush administration claims, but the reality is that these soldiers often place sectarian allegiances over loyalty to a unified Iraq.”

   Polls have shown a majority of Iraqis favor partition. That option has been forced off the discussion table by the Bush administration, as they want one US friendly government to deal with in terms of access to oil and permanent military bases.

   A Shi’ite Muslim country protecting Shi’ite mosques and communities could easily generate and maintain an effective police and military to protect itself. The same thing would be true of the Kurds in the North. For all practical purposes, they are already independent. The same would be true of the Sunnis Muslims.

   The one thing we are not doing is challenging our own fundamental assumption that it is realistic to expect Sunnis and Shi’ite Muslims to live together in one democractic country peacefully.

   Some extremely basic points need to be made. This sectarian violence has been going on in the region since the formation of the Shi’ite Muslim religion. It is not realistic to expect to stop conflict that has been going on hundreds of years.

   Make the liars Pay.

   Mr. Bush,a war based on lies, against an innocent country, that did not attack us, promoted at the cost and expense of thousands of brave young american’s lives, is Treason, against all Americans.
   When Cheney conspired to blow the cover of Valerie Plane, and blow the Covert operation of hundreds of brave undercover CIA agents and their operatives, who have probally sense been executed or imprisoned, it was an act of Treason. In the words of George H. W. Bush, “Those who disclose those who are engaged in Undercover Covert Operations, are the most Vile of Traitors.” Its time for every member of American Society to demand an immediate Removal from office of Bush/Cheney and have them stand trial, for the crimes they have committed. America, You don’t have a moment to wait, as these vile creatures are planning even greater evils, too our once proud country. Demand an investigation, Immediate and complete, of the false intelligence, manufactured by Cheney, and his office of special planning, and make them all be held accountable.

   This whole war has been cleverly muddied from the very beginning and continues to be purposely muddied to this day. The reality is that the U.S. (corporate ruled U.S. that is) went to war to permantly take over the the oil fields of Iraq, and the U.S. will not leave for the same reason, but no one in Congress has the guts to admit it. Those new U.S. military bases are there to stay, and do not expect vacancy signs ever to go up. It is the determination of the American Corporate Empire to do so until it crashes and burns.
