   Thanks for your thoughtful/amusing essays on CommonDreams. I get the awful gut feeling that the Bush juggernaut is flailing against time and doing everything possible to start another war before the Dem Congresspeople can get their act (if they have one) together.

This strategy is of a piece with the rest of George Bush’s foreign policy strategies that have produced such successes as, for example, Iraq.”

   I for one am so tired of just getting angry or sarcasticly derrogatory towards Dubya et al that it is a relief to just laugh at the silliness for just a little bit. Maybe that’s what keeps the rest of the world from going insane as they watch this looney tune play out–a year and ten months and counting–Oh lord will we survive?

   In light of the fact that Bush has not told the truth to any of us for over 6 years, and that he has demonstrated himself to be mentally and emotional unstable, why do you and the rest of the press even treat him with any amount of credibility? You might as well be saying the same things about the Unibomber: giving rational arguments to his manic ravings and suggesting logical resolutions to his demented schemes. Logic does not work in a world of dimentia. We, the people of the United States of America, are demonstrating ourselves to be as out of touch with reality as is this current administration. Reading and listening to the talking heads, who are regarded as the spokespeople of the illumined majority of this nation, leaves me in a state of despair; well, it would if I chose to allow it. I don’t. The Truth is, everything that is going on in the outer world most consider reality is an illusion. It is the outpicturing of our own thought systems. Change your thoughts and you will change your experience of the world. Watch The Secret DVD, http://www.thesecret.tv. You don’t have to believe what you see and hear, but that does not change its truth. You do not have to believe the world is round. The world does not care. It is what it is. The insanity of the World is the insanity of its conscious inhabitants. Become sane and start living that way and you will be amazed at how your life will change.

   I once met Stan Ulam, mathematician with the Manhattan Project, who figured out how to detonate Teller’s bomb, originally called the Ulam/Teller bomb. He told me that the “Star Wars” scenario, zealously promoted by Teller, would never work because it cannot be proven mathematically. He called Teller a dreamer who needed others to complete his ideas. It is sickening to think that we are spending money and time on a useless project until such time as our technology could develop so that such a scenario is feasible. These goingson are the perfect example of an arrogant, ignorant military/industrial allowed to waste money, time and talent on what is now, an impossibility.
