Good news! Thanks to all who have started yet another campaign to right the U.S. ship of state. I hope it has some impact. I don’t think that Americans that really want to help will be very successful. We can’t even get the School of the Americas closed down! But I think we can help by supporting other countries that don’t want U.S. bases on their land.
This campaign to shut American bases around the world hits at the heart of the military/industrial complex of the chicken hawks.

Every time I see reports like this:
“…. the U.S. military maintains some 737 bases in 130 countries, although many estimate the true number to be over 1,000.”
I immediately find myself imagining the US response if ANY other country tried to have military bases of their own inside the USA.
The mind boggles.
Isn’t a military base inside someone else’s country a form of occupation of that country?
I find myself wishing America would mind its own business and stop trying to force the rest world to conform with its agenda.
Contrary to the propaganda that most Americans seem to have swallowed, lock, stock and barrel, America is NOT the best (nor the worst) country in the world and Americans are NOT somehow better than other human beings.

Actually ther is a foriegn base within the U.S. The former Holloman AFB in new Mexico is currently being used by the Luftwaffe of all things for pilot training. The only military base allowable in the USA should be the Free Mexican Airforce.
