For me, growing up in the state of Idaho meant going to high school in the Boise area and seing my 'real' first concert with the band, REM in 1989 at BSU on their tour of 'Green' and the everlasting statement...'understand the power of a single action'... Whether it's Patti Smith or Michael Stipe talking about change in Idaho or anywhere else in the world for that matter...these are the people who have seriously made an impact on me and the music that I play... In Idaho, we continue to struggle with human rights and animal rights...whether it's the salmon, the grizzly, or the wolves...the indigenous ones that live on reservations or the people of colour...they too live for a greener day.
