   This is so much like the MASH episode where the Docs help to keep a soldier who is physically unfit for combat from being returned to the “line” by just the sort of “beancounter-type” officers described in the story. And for those of us who know how the military operates, like the MASH episode, this sort of thing is SOP. The E-8, master sgt., interviewed has more spine than the leaders of the Democrats, who won’t cut funds or impeach. To me, they are gross traitors, every bit as disgusting as Bush and Cheney.

   These higher ups that are reclassifing these troops are taking orders from somebody higher up the chain of command. I want to know who that is. Was it Rumsfeld? It is clear that no one in this administration gives a damn about our troops. Our troops are just cannon fodder for these immoral and criminal creeps. All deployments should be stopped NOW!

   When all the wounded are properly dignosed and given their pensions, two things will happen. (1) The American people will then know what the true cost of this war will be in the next 40 years: trillions of $$$$.
   (2) Once those soldiers have received their deserved pensions and are released as POW’s from Walter Reed and other medical prison camps, they will be sing a new national anthem which the Bush-Cheney-Rice regime will NOT like.

   Trying to control how angry this makes me, I’m wondering. Has someone decided that it is cheaper to throw these broken soldiers back into the horror, than to send them toward rehab and their disability pensions? Maybe they will be finished off, solving one of the government’s headaches? Less red tape?

   Of course, this idea is unthinkable to most military officers and government officials, but the guys who are doing the bidding of the Bush administration might as well be loading these troops into cannons. We know that Bush & Cheney do not consider the Iraqis to be human beings deserving of respect, now we see even more clearly that they don’t think much more of the US Armed Services and their families. The surge of 21,000 has become a surge of 80,000. They are fighting for oil (not even ideology) … people be damned.

   None of these medical problems can be eye balled .These conditions require x-rays an other diagnostic studies to evaluate them. The military is doing just what it wants to these service members and any physician who signs off on this practice has violated his oath as a physician do no harm, and his oath to the country to preserve ,protect and defend our constitution. It makes no sense to do this to soldiers who have done their duty many times and to send them like sheep to the slaughter. The doctors who let these men and women go back, know how wrong they are, even if ordered to do it and should be fired ASAP.

   It is time the soldiers and their loved ones stopped being the victims of the Bush Regime. It is not only up to us to stop this war; it is up to those who are directly involved. Why is Ehren Watata(sp) the only officer who has refused to go to Iraq and subject to court martial? As long as the mostly young men and women go and follow the illegal commands of the officers, and their loved ones support their going, there is no end in sight. When the mentally sick and wounded start acosting you on the street and raping and butchering your loved ones, perhaps you will recognize the real horror of war. Support the Troops? They have to demonstrate their willingness to refuse to go. If I were an officer or politician who was behind the VA scandal, I’d be scared to death. These returning soldiers are trained to kill and feel nothing…and many of them are armed.

   There is no explanation or excuse for this, but why should it surprise any of us? . These are the same criminals making these policy decisions and their lackeys following them who don’t and never will give a rats ass about any human being. Remember, we’ve caused the deaths of over 650,000 Iraqis with no end in sight. Do you really think our own soldiers rank that much higher in their twisted sick value system??? When are the people gonna rise up and demand an end to this madness?????

   This is a travesty that needs to be publicised. Of course it’s much worse for Iraqis who are stuck there to be continually victimized and now that the Dems have caved and given Bush a blank check to attack Iran, it will get much worse all around.

    Ah, the war it’s a great profit machine eating and spitting out dead drones that believed what they were told by an unaccountible government. Look at Katrina, Walter Reed, and many other examples … remember Agent Orange – just wait till depleted uranium breaks wide open … of, coarse the easy fix will be to have a few “retire” with full pay and benefits.
    Wait till the soliders get back and then they’ll probably face an incident like I did. I went to Emergency as a fully disabled person with medicare … was illegally denied services … complained to Center for Medicare that “risk-managed” me (and didn’t perform their duty correctly) and when I sued I wasn’t given due process or legal representation (Justice for the Rich.) Now years later, after still persuing an unjust and immoral decision … it comes out I was right all along. Not that I didn’t tell the professionals (directors, etc.) just that they don’t have to follow the law since they are unacountible and immune from prosecution if they are government employees in charge of looking out for my rights. When I turned Center for Medicare Services (to the Inspector General for fruad, waste and mismanagement)and for nonperformance and negligence I still await damages, remedy, restitution and being made “whole.” However, I am not a dumb drone and will continue to speak. Don’t ask what you can do for your country … demand to know what your country has done … mine has screwed me by denying medical services, legal services and even common courtesy. Now since I dropped my Medicare for non-performance, negligence and breach of duty … NO ONE in the government can answer where I should go now? It has been suggested that I go back to the perpetrators (basically back to the priest that molested me) without them acknowledging guilt (they call it human error) and compensating me for my damages. To have the hospital commit the original crime (denied emergency services) was bad enough; but to have the government shirk it duties to me and then expect me to go back is EVIL! So as you can see you don’t have to go to Iraq to see the inhumanity and unaccountiblity of our wonderful government at work for you. Yeah, tell it to someone who believes it , I don’t as a poor expendable citizen who has seen his government work (HA) for him. Ah, the great American illusion … along with the emperor that wore no clothes and the unheard “mouths of babies.” My last note as told to me by everyone I went to see in the government for their collective duties that failed … “Good Luck.”

    The only time this could even begin to be justified would be if we had been invaded and were in desperate struggle to save the country. Most certainly not for a war that should never have been started, is already lost, and should not continue.

    The myth that Bush, Cheney, and the Republicans support the troops continues to unravel along with all of the other myths they have foisted off on an unsuspecting public.

    I think that it is sad to continue to send soldiers over there that have obvious issues and not worry about the soldiers that never step foot in Iraq or anywhere for that matter. I know soldiers that have been in more than 20 years who never deployed but sent many thousands of soldiers there. How do you handle those individuals? Just let them enjoy watching soldiers on TV from there cozy office. What is wrong with that picture?
