   It doesn’t end, does it. The stench just keeps getting stronger and spreads with every new revelation.

   Must we wait till 01/09 before it ends? I shudder when I look at the trend on all fronts: domestic, national, foreign policy (read; Iraq, Iran, etc.). So much damage can be done in that time…

   gonzales is no worse than bush and cheney. we should not waste our energy on gonzales, and let bush and cheney run around as if they were not equally criminal. they were all equally in on this.

   Henry get off your ass and start issuing some inditements for Gonzales, Bush, Cheney, Halliburton, CACI, Blackwater, Fox, NBC, CBS, CNN. THe SCUMBAG RNC AND GOP, Charge them all with TREASON in time of war, and let them face the pentalty to the maximum extent of the law, no pardons allowed, \Also all multi national companies who have been indited on charges of war profiteering, have all assets frozen, and contracts canceled, and books, confiscated, until a complete and through audit of their books can be completed. We have the power to indite, use it now Henry. get off your butt and get to work.

   No. PEOPLE make mistakes. And when they are serious enough, and the people hold positions of public trust, the people who made the mistakes resign.

   This comes under the department of too little, too late, and ignores the fact that Bush undoubtedly asked Gonzales for legal opinions on his planned courses of action before engaging in them.

   Which of course is why we got explanations about the unitary executive theory, and the notion that Habeus Corpus isn’t an absolute right guaranteed by the constitution because the constitution only states when it can’t be denied.

   remember it was gonzales who said that the geneva conventions were “too quaint” for the US to be bothered with. this was why bus/heney installed him in his position. so regard for law was never there and that was the qualification.
   but the senate, the wimps, went along.

   I was wrong. Resignation is not enough. Impeachment has gotta start somewhere, so it might as well start with Gonzo. One thing will lead to another. The unraveling started with Libby. Let’s pull another thread! Hold all these monsters accountable. Make them testify under oath. All of them.

   Impeachment is the only recourse at this point. It keeps all the issues front and center where the people of America can see what is being done to them and in their name. Even the mainstream media won’t be able to ignore impeachment proceedings.

   Get the ball rolling. Impeach Gonzo now!
