The FDA and USDA are in bed with all the gene-tech companies like Monsanto. The USDA says that if it looks like corn, it’s corn. Period. The majority of the indiginous corn varieties in Mexico have already been contaminated with GMO varieties. Some countries have refused GMO contaminated food aid from the U.S.. They would rather starve than let the U.S. dump this stuff on them and contaminate their countries with this stuff that is a threat to their long term health and welfare.
For years, it has been known that GMO corn is injurious to humans and animals, as well as the contaminating of the food supply and the environment. Further, the government has blocked any labeling of GMO foods. The EU has already implemented labeling. So on top of everything else, Americans have no clue as to what they’re eating.

“Greenpeace said a study it had commissioned that was published in the journal Archives of Environmental Contamination and Technology showed rats fed for 90 days on Monsanto’s MON863 maize showed “signs of toxicity” in the liver and kidneys.
We have been misled by experts before. How do we know that is not being done again?
Monsanto is subject to legal action by those who are injured by their actions. What is the legal jeopardy situation for this “independent source”? And, just who is that source?

MON863 is not really resistant to the larvae of coleopteran corn root worm, it is toxic to them.
This is because MON863 has been genetically modified to produce the Bacillus thuringiensis delta-endotxin within it’s tissues. This toxin disrupts the midgut in such a way that they quickly die of a subsequent bacterial sepsis.
Thus it is the increase in corn root worm mortality that allows the maize to grow well.
