   Naturally there was no investigation. They knew about the leak, approved of it and were the instigators of it. They obviously couldn’t care less about the safety and security of Valerie Plame or the whole country for that matter. It’s time to call these criminals to account for what they have done. They must atone.

   Why would it take the threat of a subpoena to get the White House security chief to testify before the Waxman committee? After all, I mean…if they have nothing to fear - what are they afraid of?

   Revoking the security clearances of Rove and other key players in the White House is an interesting idea. All of them would eventually lose their clearances as those with clearnaces would continue to leak information to those without clearances.

   To give you an idea how old I am, Harry Truman was President when I started school. I know every administration has problems and bad things happen, but this bunch in power now has to be the most corrupt bastards ever. The person above has it right. They are a crime syndicate. I sometimes wonder if they can even tell the truth to one another.

   Gotta love that Waxman! Boy does he have his hands full these days.

   I like the crime syndicate analogy.

   And no, they don’t seem to talk to each other as evidenced in the Libby trial. They all seem to have their own turf and mobs to protect. They seem to be only loosely connected to Shrub. I suspect that most of the time Shrub doesn’t even know what the hell is going on. He just authorizes whatever they want.

   Why do Waxman, Kucinich, Waters. Lee and all other progressive leaders stay in the Democratic Party? If they won’t join the most progressive Green Party for whatever reason, why won’t they become Independents like Bernie? Aren’t they also tired of being taken for granted by the corporate conservative Dem leaders? How bad do things have to get before they claim their power?

    It’s an old ploy to “not know too much,” even as everyone is doing their bit. Listening to the Nixon tapes reveals just how this game is played with a nod, a wink, and only a word or two. Revoke Karl Rove’s clearance, now!

    What? how can that be? the bush white house did not investigate the treasonous leak of valerie plame’s CIA status? even though Bush said he would get to the bottom of it and fire anyone who was involved. you mean he was not good on his word in going after traitors? he didn’t even order an investigation? come on. i can’t believe it. next thing you’ll tell me is they bombed the world trade center, or that bush’s grandfather funded adolf hitler,. even after the US entered the war…

    Why would Bush or Cheney order an investigation? They knew who leaked Valerie Plame Wilson’s name — Libby and Armitage. Who concocted such a perverse plot? Karl Rove, Mr. Turdblossom himself. Who complicitly aided and abetted this nefarious scheme? Tim Russert, Bob Novak, Bob Woodward, Brit Hume, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Chris Matthews, David Broder, Bill Kristol, and the rest of the MSM.

    Bush/Cheney’s retaliation against Ambassador Wilson was the most heinous betrayal, second only to that of Judas. It’s a wonder Ms. Plame Wilson isn’t dead; certainly her chosen career is, and so are 3,217 Americans and over 600,000 Iranians.
