   What did they have do to prepare them? Change them or make them up? The amazing thing is that these attorneys still consider themselves repubs. They have first-hand knowledge of how this administration is breaking laws and usurping the Constitution and they still call themselves repubs? When are they going to see the light?

   “A law quietly passed”? Who TF passed this law that so quietly stripped the Senate of their power to represent the people of this nation?

   One can only hope that the Democratic Congress is taking the time to examine the re-authorized Patriot Act with a fine-tooth-comb to be certain that all the lice-headed legislation gets removed.

   Anything can be done if no one is paying attention. And, no one person can possibly attend to the myriad efforts underway to consolidate power in certain areas, to remove power from others, to line some pockets, while sabotaging the ability to oversee and control abuse (self presevation — staying out of jail). I don’t even think this trend is cohesive or coordinated. It is the result of a bunch of petty criminals serving other petty criminals without thought to, or perhaps without the ability to comprehend, the full implications of their actions. It is chaos theory in action. It is probably a trait that will be the undoing of our species. We won’t save ourselves from ourselves, how on earth can we expect good government?

   There is nothing petty about the serial treasonous high crimes being commited by this Administration. These are serious violations of federal statutes, articles of the constitution, international treaties and international law. Jus Gogens Doctrine could potentially mean Bush, Cheney etal could find themselves convicted of criminal felonies in federal courts once they leave office
   That is ofcourse they don’t make good their escape to Bush’s hideaway in Uruguay!!!

   If Leahy and Schumer cave into Bush’s arrogant “offer” to allow Rove and company to converse with them behind closed doors with no sworn testimony allowed, then they are complicit in these crimes. One day between Lam’s email notifying Justice of her investigation of Foggo and Sampson’s damning exchange!!!! Come on!!!! How much more obvious can it get? We’re not talking about proving this in court, just the court of public opinion, and when you couple that with the outrageous “ranking” of Patrick Fitzgerald, you’ve got more than the makings of a smoking gun. If they drop this one, we will know that we have to start working our tails off to create a viable Third Party tomorrow and not stop until we’ve done something to preserve what’s left of our democracy for our grandkids if nothing else!
