On the day after the elections when the Democrats had gained a foothold, I “came out” as a Democrat in a workplace I’ve been in for 10 years! I know, it’s a pathetic lack of courage. I am sick of this war, and how our administration has used bullying and lies to gain profit. When Molly Ivins wrote her plea that we get out in the streets to protest the war, banging pots and pans, I finally put a “war is not the answer” and “peace is patriotic” bumperstickers on my car, though I’m aware of the irony that I am going through a divorce. Interestingly, I’ve received no negative comments about either of my little protest actions.
I don’t know about other folks, but these are some of my excuses. My guilty apathetic assent which collectively let this get so out of hand is another reason. How do you play fair with a cheater who holds all the cards and will lie like hell if you tell on them?

Impeachment is much too mild for this cadre of war mongers, this Oligarchy. The term Democracy is laughable in this context. They should be charged with war crimes! It is beyond me why the spineless representatives, much less the public, allows the continued support for this carnage. It is despicable! It should have been stopped yesterday! Perhaps it is the realization that they too can be implicated with the actual criminal act by their initial, unquestioning support, which is why they continue to stammer and waiver. But, all of this is just the tip of the iceberg that weaves its way back through the nefarious misadventures of Bush I, and on back through the Johnson era, following the murder of JFK. Democracy…what the hell is that? It’s time that Dorothy ignored the pseudo-voice of authority and took a peek behind the curtain to finally witness the actual charlatan puppet-masters for what they really are.

The events of 9/11 should have been investigated as a criminal offense, in full public view, and never allowed to have been skewed into a pretext for the subjugation, rape, plunder and pillaging of another sovereign. All who voted for this misadventure should be held in contempt. The phrase, we didn’t know, uttered by the Germans following WWII, was unacceptable then, and it certainly should be unacceptable now.

Might does not make right, it breeds contempt!

As a father of two sons, I can relate to your loss. Living with such a tragedy is the hardest thing for any parent. And it breaks our hearts to read when you talk about Casey. In order to focus my own efforts toward peace and justice I gave up on the other corporate party and joined the peace party, the Greens. I feel that is the best party for us to unite around and hope you will join us.

I believe this is hard and angst-filled for you. But, please, keep writing and being public.

The nightmare will end. America will wake up. Unfortunately, your hardest work has just now started. Let others know your feelings and views.

Eternity is one hellava’ “play”ground. Each of us as minute, differentiated particles of Light within and as part of THE LIGHT, based on my acquired knowings, have eternity to play with, within unlimited space, unlimited dimensions and unlimited time … so maybe next time around, I’ll run into some kind of incredibly magnificent creation … wherever … and it will be yours, … and I will make contact in whatever way is available … wherever … and “say” something like: “Wow, if I live to be a thousand I’ll never be able to write something like that.”

If I’ve learned anything, Ipenet, it is that it is all an Adventure; all of us have roles … contracts to fill …; we get as many chances as we need to make the right choices to fulfill them …; and we get as many times around as Eternity IS … and as long as learning and growing and learning and growing and then acting on the best of what we have learned, that somehow … no matter what … it all turns out all right because it all leads back to and gets nourishment from THE LIGHT … and all of IT that we are involved with and in … wherever and whenever … is called LIFE.

Enjoy and rise the current Adventure … Do your best to help undo the deceit of dark, hurtful, shallow and ignorant thinking and acts of others and also your own/my own too, so we collectively transform the whole ball of wax into bright, shining “candles” of peace and love and joy … THE LIGHT … for everyone and every thing. … That’s the work, and it’s always been so … wherever and whenever … but it sure ain’t easy … and no one ever said it was/is …
