   So, we are at the end of our republican trajectory. The next step is to stop using pronoun ‘we’ and start using pronoun ‘they’ instead. I know it, I have been there when I was 14 years old and lived in Leningrad. It is a very tough thing my fellow Americans to find out the first time that the great country of yours is not what is pretend to be. That all those great tunes you knew from early childhood, parades in school and celebrations of Great Revolution, the Old Glory that never had flown over an unjust cause, that all those crimes and misdemeanors, if any, were done by few bad apples strayed out of the great course to Liberty and Justice for All, all of the above does not carry any water anymore. Boy, it is really tough but it is not enough to become cynical.
   For the mole of History is digging slowly but it is digging deep. For the promises of American, French, Russian and Chinese Revolutions may be stolen, but they can be hidden not. For man does not live by bread alone: without dignity he is not man even in the middle of plenty. And here is a sign of what is coming.
   The all of the Cold War was a Lie on two legs. With one leg gone the other is crumbling. Republicrats helped to destroy the military machine designed to milk money by engaging in great bogus projects, Star Wars and alike. Now they embark on containment of the most populous country trough the history of humankind. End of story. What the United States managed to achieve with the blood of Russians and Germans, now must be maintained with blood of our own. That won’t be easy. There will be precious little volunteers I gather. Give-me generation is hard put to really give.

   I firmly believe that Kucinich is correct. This administration has done so many crimes against the US Constitution and the people of the US. He and Clinton and Bush 1 have given all of our manufacturing capability to China. They have turned our treasury into a slush fund for military and oil contractors.
   We need to impeach both Bush and Cheney simultaneously or we’ll get the devil cheney as president. Let the Congress begin.

   We need to move to impeach. That is necessary to restore faith that those we elect uphold their responsibilty to enforce this country’s laws (and respect international treaties as well!).

   It is unacceptable that this administration should continue to pursue unchecked what is clearly a self-serving agenda that is costing hundreds of thousands of lives.

   It is a criminal waste of tax money, also. Do we as Americans want to continue to foot the bill for the wholesale destruction of Iraq? Because as taxpayers we are currently buying our own future problems in the region for decades to come.

   Americans deserve much, much better than this administration, and much better than shallow Democratic pandering. So does the rest of the population of the planet, as far as I’m concerned. We have a lot going for us. We have technology, wealth and resources that could be used to vastly improve life for people here and elsewhere. It’s time we got moving in the right direction. The first step is to stop this administration in its tracks now.

   Impeachment is the constitutional remedy for the madness we are facing. It is the only way to redeem ourselves in the eyes of the world for what these criminals have done in our name. It is the only way to keep them from committing more crimes against humanity, including us. Kucinich has the courage to speak the truth to his fellow Americans and it would behoove us all to support him. We can’t let this go on.

   This administration makes the Nixon crimes look like Boy Scouts earning merit badges. These corporate stooges have done nothing but lie to America and degrade her prestige worldwide. The only reason we’re even in a war (or 2) in the middle east is the Bush admin’s fronting for the energy corporations. Look no further than Condosleeza Rice- mouthpiece for big oil, or Gayle Norton, mouthpiece for Monsanto. Giving these two any power at all is akin to giving the keys to the inmates at a prison. We Americans have been forced, though two straight fraudulent elections, to watch as our government turns towards fascism and legalizing torture. It’s time to make the cretins in charge pay for their many crimes. Impeach them NOW

   This is why Kucinich got my support (and my money) for his previous campaign.

   But here’s the problem. Yes, Bush should be impeached. Hell, the whole lot should be dragged out of the White house in chains. But are we naive enough to suppose the Dems would NOT attack Iran? Every potential candidate (with the exception of Kucinich) has refused to rule this out. And all (except Dennis again) have knelt at the AIPAC altar and promised to eliminate any and all of our 51st state’s enemies, real or imagined.

   So simply impeaching Bush, Cheney and the rest of these pigs would not guarantee no war with Iran.

   Goddamn, the Dems can’t even get us out of Iraq, with 70% of America demanding it.

   Don’t know why anyone would ask if Kucinich is the right messenger for this message. He’s been consistent from the veeeery beginning concerning the illegality of the Iraq war. Just shows you how whacked we are when someone who makes the most direct and cogent address to this Constitutional remedy is considered an outsider.

   Until you realize the outsidedness is the result of status quo media marginalization. I bet if Dennis decided to moon the House the next chance he got that would be on TV for several weeks. Might even surpass Anna Nichol.

   Dennis has had my unqualified support since the first time I heard him interviewed on WPR a couple of years ago. He’s a true chanmpion of Truth and it is sad indeed that the people of this Nation don’t even get a chance to hear him and know about him because he is shut out and derided. Pity since it just shows our superficiality and our ignorance as a nation that we are blind,deaf and dumb in the face of this giant of a man.

   Dennis, you’ve got to make a bigger splash, somehow. Not even NPR will give you the time of day (they have become celebrity-politician chasers, too, sadly). Do your politicking homework; get your votes lined up, and impeach the bastards.

    Kucinich has my support and he had my vote last pres. primary. When he didn’t win, I voted for Nader, as Kerry is just another game player as Clinton is now. By all means, please start impeachment, tie up congress with investigations and hearings as this may be the only way to prevent Bush from attacking Iran at this point. I talked with my congressman’s rep. about this issue a couple days ago. I was told that the democrats would never get two thirds of senate for removal from office. I said never say never, you don’t know that for sure. Also, congress has a duty to the people to pursue impeachment and even if Bush and co. aren’t removed from office this action would create more support from the worlds’ people towards Americans.

    It would be Cheney! That’s why we have to impeach both of them. The next in line would be Pelosi. I think we could live with that!

    My hypotheses is that Nancy didn’t want to make any big waves when she hit the roll of speaker. However I also think that she is embarrased to push for impeachment of Cheney and Bush because that would be self agrandizing because it would make her president. I think she should just get over that and do what is right for the country and push for impeachment, and imprisonment of Bush and Cheney.

    What an interesting idea that Pelosi might be reluctant because she’s next in line. There may be some merit to that. She is a decent person who certainly doesn’t covet the job so it may take some arm twisting to set such a thing in motion. Kucinich would be doing his country the greatest of all services if he could initiate the proceedings. I think the country is ready to consider impeachment and possibly even treason if Congress stays strong with its investigations and reveals the true criminality of this administration.
